I love using things in unexpected places. Like using an old door for a headboard. You can find architectural salvage at flea markets or antique stores, and many have very large doors that can really make a statement as a headboard. You could also use a window to hide a TV when not in use. These pieces came from Eclectic Architecturals in East Texas.
