If you have a big expanse of wall and only one (not so wide) canvas painting to fill it up - get 2 blank canvases in the same height as your painting and paint them in one solid color. They will look like extensions of the one focal piece. Here, I found an inexpensive painting at IKEA and painted the other two canvases black. It's an inexpensive way to fill up a large wall and really makes a statement.

Filling up large walls

Do you have any suggestions for small rooms? I'm a college student, and while I'm not in a dorm room, I might as well be. If you have any organization/design tips that would be wonderful!
