Since we moved (now 2 months ago) there has been one room that I was dreading to unpack and organize - our home office. This weekend, the fiance and I finally bought a bookcase ($99 at Ikea) and spent a day going through old files, papers, and random junk. The space is finally clean and organized and best of all... functional. (Please excuse the iPhone photos.)

QUICK TIP: Instead of keeping piles upon piles of old magazines... as you read them, tear out the photos or articles you find interesting and put them in a 3 ring binder. I put tabs in mine, like "Design Ideas" or "Beauty Tips" but it's not necessary. This way you're never short on inspiration and you have a plethora of shelf space!

Love the binder idea!
My husband and I are in the midst of moving and I am going to turn out spare room into our office. The binder idea is a great one that I am going to steal :)
