I love stationary. Letterpress or flat. Classic or modern. I love it all. But like most Dallas girls, I have expensive taste. On my wish list... custom Kate Spade letterpress social stationary. And it's been proven that letterpress business cards win more free lunches... I also think stationary makes a great gift. But before you break the bank giving out custom letterpress, think about making it yourself. You can download free fonts on the internet and then just buy some card stock. If you're not a fan of plain white, you could also buy fancy envelopes to match. I did this for Christmas presents this past year. I designed mine in Photoshop but you could also use any word processing software. Here are just a few...

The engagement party invitations I wanted were close to $15 each, so I designed them myself for closer to 15 cents. I did the same with the Save the Date cards. But those haven't gone out yet so I'm going to leave you hanging. :) Here is the engagement party invite (quite obviously censored.)

Hey! I love your work! I can't believe it's never occured to me to design my stationery in Photoshop. I'm definitely going to give it a try. I heart Kate Spade, too, but she's not really loving me in this recession ;-)
I think all your logos are great, but I really like 1 and 4...which really couldn't be more different from each other, could they?
Good luck!
Thats so awesome! I should've done that for our announcements and party invitations. I am sure I will do that from now on to save money!
Thanks!
Just visiting from SITS :D
They look fabulous!! And you saved quite a bit of $$. $15 ea...heck no! And yours probably looks way better :)
Thanks for the comment and congratulations to you too! And don't feel like you're far behind with planning, you're ahead of me with the Save the Dates! I've yet to design mine.
great idea! great way to save a lot of money. BTW, do you know of any great websites with free clip art/graphics??
